Would you like fries with that?

This happened awhile ago, but it is still worth sharing. We had an event at work that last until about midnight. I had not eaten since lunch, and my boss said he was going to stop at McDonalds for some fries. I am not a huge fan of the Golden Arches, but it sounded it great for some reason. I also decided to stop on my way home. The manager on duty told me it would be a couple minutes for warm fries. I was sitting in my car for a few minutes and was getting kind of ancy to get home. I looked inside to see what was taking so long and saw an older woman making my fries (picture your lunch lady). She was salting the fries, multi-tasking while smoking a cigarette! Yes, inside Mc Donalds, standing by the greasy fries, she was smoking! The manager came and brought me my fries and I asked him to give me his boss' phone number. He gave me an inquisitive look, but gave it to me anyhow. I called the next day. I think they may have both lost their jobs.

Virgin Blogger

Even though I don't have enough of a life to send out Christmas news letters, I decided it was time to get on board with the wonderful world of blogging. I am not sure how much it will change or how many people would actually like to read about the life of a single, 28 year old, Mormon girl. Maybe this blog will be the thing I have been missing all these years.
So here it is. Why In Love With Shoes, you might ask. Well, I have been "in like" many times in my life, but my one true love (thus far) has always been shoes. Shoes come in all different sizes, heights, widths, colors, patterns, some big and bulky (I have gotten rid of most of those), some are athletic, some are for dancing (not that I do a whole lot of that), some are cheap, some are expensive, they keep you warm and most of all, they keep your ugly feet covered... not that I have ugly feet, I just don't like feet. Anyhow I love shoes! And don't worry, this blog will not be all about shoes.
